because I made the mistake a few years ago, of spending hours on cards - out
they go; a couple were damaged by the post office, and it's a bit heart-breaking
when you realize you could have prevented the entire loss.

A little note re the photograph above: I bought 20 of the most beautiful hand-made cards from my dear friend, Mary back in 2003. I use them sparingly (the originals) - keep the photographs for myself so I can reproduce them for recipe cards and note-cards as I need them - very pretty way to share a new recipe or to say 'just thinking of you'.
